Welcome! *** I thank Thomas at Bureau Bas Smets in Brussels, Belgium, the original designers of the waterlily pond in Arles, France, for their clear answer: the misting installation in the outdoor pond at LUMA Arles, France, is a temporary art piece by the Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya, an installation that will be shown throughout Les Rencontres, the international photographic manifestation, until September 26, 2025. *** The 2025 spring event at the Fondation Opale in Lens, Rien de Trop Beau pour les Dieux, was a carte blanche show curated by the French Jean-Hubert Martin, about "the plastic diversity of spiritual practices from all over the world." This show of "altars, 20th-century artists and a generation of artists trying to get recognition for their culture", also portrayed several Australian Aboriginal pieces, of which the Fondation has the biggest main collection in Switzerland! *** The Dutch Association of Botanical Artists (VBKN) requested designs from their working members for a new folder for their 2026 jubilee. I happily submitted. I had four pieces in the 17th edition of the Little Treasures exposition at the Galeria De Marchi in Bologn, Italy, November/December, 2024, organized by Trevisan International Art. It is one of their longest running and most successful shows. *** On to 2025, better and better ! With love.*** On June 15th 2024 this site reached 1 million visitors.
